This project combines retail, restaurant and office use with live/work, condominium housing, single- family townhouses, a high green point rating and affordable housing on a central in-fill site.  HartMarin provided assistance with project initiation as well as management of design, entitlement, bidding and start of construction.  We dealt with a sensitive creek habitat, bay mud, corrosive soils, flood zones and other complex environmental issues.  The City of Mill Valley heralded HartMarin’s involvement in the project as:  “a model for the redevelopment of Miller Ave and an exemplary instance of how all future projects in the City should incorporate community input and accommodate neighbor’s concerns.” [Mill Valley Herald Vol 17, Is 22, 6/4/07].
